Our Instructors

At Ibe Kajukenbo, we continue to teach the Original Emperado Method of Kajukenbo as passed down by our instructor Sifu Ken Paphavasit. 

Sifu Mike Ibe has trained in Kajukenbo for over 17 years in Sacramento, earning his Kajukenbo Black Belt under the instruction of Sifu Ken Paphavist in 2009. Sifu Mike is also a 3rd degree Black Belt in Doce Pares Multi Style System of  Eskrima, having trained for over 18 years and is now teaching classes in Sacramento and Yuba City. 

Sifu Mike has competed in various competitions on the Regional level in California as well as the National level in the United States winning multiple Gold Medals in Single Stick, Double Stick, Knife Fighting, and Forms between 2006 - 2013. Sifu Mike has even traveled to the Philippines as a part of Team USA to capture a World Title in a Single Stick Continuous Fighting Division in 2008.
